BEST GRAN TURISMO SETUP? - Fanatec GT DD Extreme Review
Will at Boosted Media legit covers the concerns of Fanatec delivery and concerns of why the QR lite can now all of a sudden work for 15nm holding TQ which means it will boost up to around 17-18 peak most likely and not fall apart. 😞I like Boosted Media because they tend to say it like it is, but did he know about the new wheel coming? Why yes he did. Will mentions he had a review copy 3 months ago. This also means Thomas at Fanatec lied again. What is up with this company? Is it all the overhead of being the sponsor for live racing in GT4, GT3, and of course all the sponsorship they pay to be in all the sim racing games? Well of course this contributes to it.
When you buy Fanatec you support all their endeavors in real-world racing and others. There is nothing wrong with this and typical business in the motorsports world. However, with, "I would say maybe stretching themselves thin" there is not much room for delivery mistakes like this Nov 2023 and for that matter, this seems to happen every black Friday with Fanatec.
Random Callsign mentions the same thing in his YouTube video here:
So what gives at least for the QR? Sounds like they think everyone is stupid? Will Fanatec address this QR lite issue on their website? Did they sucker you into buying a $99.95 QR when really a $59.95 would mechanically work?
Let me know your thoughts below.

What Has Gone WRONG At Fanatec? (I Flew To Germany And ASKED THEM)
So this is interesting from Kireth YouTube channel. Check out the interview of why Fanatec is so screwed up ATM.
No keep in mind Thomas says they would have rather waited to release the DD+ if they had known the issues with the store beforehand to not upset the customers. In the end, this costs Fanatec much more money he says.
So they released the DD+ PS5 version so people can make a choice which is a good move. However FF to Feb 2024 when most pre-orders are not filled from Nov 2023 Fanatec drops yet another DD+ deal that is package with a new 7 rim. Much better rim than the old one.
What is wrong with Fanatec is the lack of transparency. It's ok to continue bringing new deals to the market, however, mention this when you release a product such as the DD+. There may be some that would wait for the newly designed wheel rim and others that don't care. But at least customers feel empowered to make a formative decision upfront.
