About the Game

Bikes from the world's most beloved motorcycle manufacturers, breathtaking races, and a round-the-world trip taking in 15 different locations: all this and more in the new videogame: Ride.

Choose from over 100 bikes from the manufacturers that have made motorcycling history, and set off on the World Tour. Challenge rivals at Motorcycle Festivals divided into three different track typologies: from the thrills of the GP Tracks, through the beautiful landscapes of the Country Tracks, and all the way to the challenge of the City Tracks. Race after race, customize and improve your bike in order to work your way up the World Rankings and become the fastest biker in Ride. As well as the World Tour, players can compete in a variety of different game modes: Quick Race, Time Trial, Split Screen, and online with up to 12 players in the Quick Race and in the Championship.

WORLD TOUR:

The World Tour is Ride's main game mode, where you can participate in various Festivals around the world, divided into various categories: Superbike 1000, Supersport 600, Historic Championships, and so on. Each Motorcycle Festival features a variety of race modes: single race, championship, time trial, track day, drag race, and endurance. Each race influences your reputation, and therefore your position in the World Ranking of Ride players.

MULTIPLAYER:

Up to 12 players can compete in the online game modes, including quick race and championship; you'll be able to challenge a friend with the split screen feature, and all the results of every race will be recorded on the Leaderboards.

BIKES:

Choose from a roster of the most beautiful bikes currently in production, and from the models that have made motorcycling history, with bikes from 14 of the world's leading manufacturers. There are more than 100 bikes in Ride, with displacements ranging from 250 to 1,299 cc, manufactured between 1987 and 2015. Each bike has its own specific mechanical and dynamic characteristics (power, weight distribution, engine architecture, and so on) that have been integrated with a new game physics specifically developed for Ride that allows players, gamepad in hand, to really appreciate the different dynamic behaviour of each model.

CUSTOMIZATION:

Ride lets you choose from a vast range of gear from the leading specialist clothing manufacturers, allowing you to personalize your rider from top to toe: choose from over 100 items and 400 color schemes!
Your bike is completely customisable, in accordance with two component categories: appearance and performance. Choose from a variety of models of mirrors and wheel rims, or improve performance on the track by mounting a racing exhaust and remapping the ECU. These are just some of the components that you can customize choosing from a catalogue of more than 100 parts.

TRACKS:

Ride features 15 different circuits in the various locations where the Motorcycle Festivals of the World Tour take place.

Country Tracks: mountain passes, countryside, and natural parks, faithfully reproduced from the real world.

City Tracks: circuits winding through the city, with long straights and tight corners that really challenge your riding reflexes.

GP Tracks: actual racetracks, chosen to enhance the sensations of riding in the seat of the bike, and being able to push it right to the edge.

The renewed Evolving Track System means that the track evolves lap after lap, guaranteeing improved grip along the rubbered-in ideal trajectory as it gets darker and darker as more bikes pass over it. This really helps push you towards a clean riding style, and helps you learn the braking points and the correct trajectories by studying the behavior of your rivals.

Project Cars is almost upon us and I'm so excited to get my hands on this sim racer. I had wondered what the strips in their logo meant so here is a video explain it and more.

Check out some new video footage of Ride Videogame at North Wales Track and Imola. This great looking sportbike racing game is due out MARCH 20th on PS4, PS3, XB360, XBONE, PC, STEAM!

Ride will have over 100 bikes in 4 classes- Superbike, Supersports, Naked and Historical Bikes. You can race these machines in a varity of land scapes -City, Country and Historic circuits. (I'm still hoping for Isle of Man course).

Assetto Corsa Dream Pack 1.1 Coming Q1 2015

In summary Kuno's plans to release the Dream Pack in Q1 of 2015 along with many improvements and weather!

Look for better performance in post processing demanding less from your graphics card especially with tire smoke at the starting line. Even more improved AI with fewer collisions, addition of Flags, improved damage effects and sound. A big addition to the replay file size adding the ability to define the replay recording file size (Thank You!).

our development team is working to complete the next release of Assetto Corsa, which will update the game to version 1.1 with some changes and important news. In this regard we wish to thank you for the constructive criticism and suggestions that every day submit to us on the official forum of the game, helping the development team to improve Assetto Corsa even more.

Graphics

We are redefining and optimizing the functionality related to the effects of post processing, HDR rendering and particle that improve environmental performance, lighting and video performance. The engine has been optimized to ensure a more stable framerate in all conditions, both in single and multiplayer modes. The effects of smoking have been optimized, they also solve a problem that generated substantial drop frame when significant amounts of smoke were displayed on the screen, for example during the start.

AI

As promised, the Dream Pack will be joined by optimizations, innovations and new features that will be available for everyone, even for those not willing to purchase the DLC.However, the process takes time to complete and tested properly. Formula Truck 2013 Quick Look on Steam

Check out some of my game play of the newly released Formula Truck 2013 on Steam. Now this isn't new to the market, but is new to Steam along with Game Stock Car coming soon to Steam.

First Impressions:

Formula Truck 2013 recreates the 2013 season with 26 different trucks and drivers racing on 14 tracks. This is a very exciting racing sim that brings you into the world of Big Rig racing and reproduces the feeling of racing a 5 ton rig with up to 1200 hp. These rigs handle like a huge truck duh!, but surprisingly you can make these 5 ton big boys turn and drift! With 1200 hp on tap these big trucks have no problem getting down the track fast unlike any rig I have seen! I found that the tracks you race on have a good flow to utilize the big trucks heft and lack of turning ability in tight turns. These flowing curves offer a good balance of speed and drifting thru them along with some side by side action.

Graphics 

The graphics are on par with most sim racing titles these days. That's not saying they are blow you out of the water good nor are they bad. They are just ehhh good enough to have fun. They are not up to the quality of Project Cars, Assetto Corsa or iRacing, but they look along the lines of RaceRoom and Rfactor 2.  You would like to see more detail, but don't worry about it so much because you get immersed into the racing so easily. I would imagine the graphics will improve with updates.

Physics

Ok, ok, it's a huge freaking truck, but it is surprising to me that I can make it turn with some suspension tuning. The physics engine provides me with enough feedback to let me figure out what's going on under this 5 ton rig. These are not laser scanned tracks, but do offer bump steer moments and curb feel and off track feedback along with collisions with other rigs. You downshift to soon and expect the truck to surprisingly spin around on you, but if you downshift at the threshold and you get a nice reward of feeling the truck stutter and step out just slightly to the point you can recover a slide and make you feel the truck is alive! This is really a brilliant racing sim that allows you to really feel the weight of the trucks. You will have to start stopping early to adjust for the weight and you will learn to steer with the throttle to get the truck to turn better. It's just a blast to play!

Tracks/Rigs/More 

There is 14 tracks and 18 different combos. These are not laser scanned, but are recreated beautifully offering many challenges during your racing season. You have 26 trucks to choose from that offer different feelings. Some are heavier, some lighter, some more or less horsepower, but you can customize them all with suspension setups, tires, transmission and brakes to get you around the track the way you want to drive. Along with these setting you have controls for traction control, stability control, anti-lock brakes, steering help, braking help and spin recovery, You can turn so much on that even your grandparents can drive it.

Hardware

This sim runs it all it seems. I didn't have my plugins up and running yet, but later found this titles works great with my Sim Instruments dash and Fanaleds. It also supports the major sim racing wheels and works great with my Fanatec Clubsport wheel, Clubsport V1 pedals and Clubsport shifter along with my DSD button boxes and Track iR head tracking device. However I was not able to get my Sim Xperence to run with it yet although Sim Xperence does support Game Stock Car.

Conclusion

If your a simulation racing fan then Get the game! It worth $19.99 for sure and brings you a different experience other sims do not and that's racing 5 tons of truck with 1200 hp! Heck Yeah!!
