rFactor2 at Silverstone in a Honda Civic

This was a fun race. rFactor 2 does have some really good physics. Enough to yank the steering wheel from my hand. You can really drive a car like a car in this Sim. Also the AI is surprisingly good now days. Check it out for yourself.

Game Stock Car Extreme Action

This was a fun race against AI racing the Formula Retro. Oh the sweet sounds this car makes. I have 5 buttkickers going during the race. I can feel the difference of low revs and high revs, the rumble in the seat at each corner. My Fanatec CSW pulls hard on me when bouncing off curbs. I'm topping out at 11,000 RPM! This is a always my defination of fun.

About the competition restart:

A bug found in the cut track rules at Portimao was brought to our attention. Some players chose to exploit this bug and shortcut a portion of course layout, resulting in unrealistic times being recorded. This exploit has been patched.

This event has been relaunched with a new leaderboard using the original competition terms and prize list. All players will need to submit a new lap time to be eligible to win.

Fanatec livery - A prize for participation:

Competition Terms:

Competition begins on 3 February 2015 and ends 7 March 2015.

*Hardware prizes are limited to European residents. Fanatec hardware will be shipped at no cost to the winner. Winners of RaceRoom race frames will receive a voucher good for the RaceRoom shop and will be required to pay shipping and handling. Sector 3 Updates GTR2

So in addition to the new Cadillac CTS-V coming to the GTR2 class Sector 3 will also be updating all the GTR2 class cars to their current physics along with adding new liveries.

RaceRoom is on a role. Continuing to bring us fans more and more Sector 3 is soon to bring us another Group 5 update.

I’m probably showing my age, but I love the classics. They have so much heart and raw untamed power that the newer cars don’t have. With 500hp and no traction control this will be fun! I’m looking forward to the new addition to race around with.
