Ride Digital Deluxe for Steam Users Only!

Ride Digital Deluxe for Steam Users Only!

The Steam community is getting some love from Milestone with the upcoming Ride video game by the way of a Digital Deluxe Edition for Steam only. This isn't much different from what we see with Playstation and Microsoft leveraging special weapons, extra missions or outfits etc.. to get customors to buy a the game from a certain platform. It's great to see Steam is now getting this type of customer base pull.

The Digital Deluxe Edition contents will include: Why We Ride (the movie in digital copy), Season Pass, Making of Booklet and the Official Soundtrack. Sounds like a great value so far although no price has been announced nor can you actually pre-order the game on Steam yet.
Ride is on track to release March 27 with a Steam demo this Friday March 20th. Link: RIDE

Read below or go directly the the Ride blog for the below information.

The Digital Deluxe Edition includes

“Why We Ride” (2014) directed by Brian H. Carroll, with Kenny Roberts, Ten Simon, Mert Lawwill, Troy Lee and Melisa Paris. This documentary film captures the passion of motorcycle riding, and shows the camaraderie of friends and families who ride together. As told by many racers, riders, and pioneers of the sport, and their relatives, the story weaves its way through generations of motorcyclists who live each day to the fullest on their bikes.

Season Pass: The RIDE Season Pass gives you access to all four add-on packs for the game, including the two that have already been announced and two that will be revealed shortly, allowing you to race on more than 15 additional bike models manufactured between 1998 and 2015.

Making-Of Booklet (English Only): This book takes you behind the scenes of producing the RIDE videogame, explaining how, from conception to realization, Milestone created its first ever proprietary IP. The book covers a range of topics, from the creation of the tracks to bike and rider customisation, and from the history of each of the 14 manufacturers to the development of the game physics.

Official Soundtrack: All 17 tracks from the official RIDE soundtrack (in .mp3 format) to listen to wherever you are.
